Restaurants create large portions of food to serve many people. With this large amount of production comes a lot of waste, and waste costs money, both in uneaten or spoiled food and trash handling fees. Along with the environmental benefits, there are several other reasons for a restaurant to engage in a recycling program.
| Recycling in the Restaurant | | | Glassware Care
| To keep your glassware in tip top shape, avoid glass on glass contact. Do not stack your glassware, or carry them in bouquets. When bussing tables, use a glass rack, so that each glass has its own compartment. This will give your glassware a longer life.
